Job Summary

Athletic Trainers are staffed at each of our four high schools: La Costa Canyon, San Dieguito Academy, Torrey Pines and Canyon Crest Academy. Permanent Athletic Trainers work a Monday-Friday work schedule.

 

A substitute may be used Monday-Friday to cover an absence or for Saturday sports events which require coverage.

 

The Athletic Trainer provides assistance to student athletes in the prevention, evaluation, care and rehabilitation of athletic injuries under the supervision of the Assistant Principal and guidance and direction from the Athletic Director.

Requirements / Qualifications

A valid National Athletic Trainers Association certification one year of experience providing first aid, preventative and rehabilitative treatment to athletes is required.
